Our History

1946

Parent company was founded in Kita-Shinagawa, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Japan.

1992

Koike (M) Sdn. Bhd. was established in Malaysia.

1998

Achieved RM 10,000,000 in annual sales

2001

Obtained ISO 9001 certification.

2003

Certified as Sony Green Partner for Tokyo, Tohoku and Malaysia.

2004

Achieved RM 100,000,000 in annual sales

Business alliance with Toli Packaging Indsutries Sdn. Bhd.

Established “Toli Packaging (Thailand) Co., Ltd.” to manufacture plastic trays for HDDs and semiconductors with Toli in Thailand.

Received the Green Purchasing Network's Award of Excellence.

2006

Obtained ISO 14001 certification for both Narita and Malaysia.

Established “Frencken Koike Precision Sdn. Bhd.” to manufacture printer shafts and special screws with Electro Tech Investments Limited in Malaysia.

Obtained bonded factory license for Frencken Koike Precision Sdn. Bhd.

2007

Frencken Koike Precision Sdn. Bhd. renamed to "Koike Precision Sdn. Bhd.".

Koike Precision Sdn. Bhd. obtained ISO 9001 certification.

2008

Establishing a warehouse in Indonesia named "PT Mitrabuana Sukses"

2009

Obtained license to assemble and manufacture motorcycle parts in Malaysia. Formed a business alliance with Pecca Leather Sdn. Bhd

2010

Koike Precision Sdn. Bhd. acquired a mobile phone button manufacturing plant.

Established an aluminium die-casting machining plant named "Koike Manufacturing (M) Sdn. Bhd.".

2011

Formed a business alliance with Luster Industries Sdn. Bhd.

2012

Established “Giken Koike Sdn. Bhd.”, an auto parts design and development company.

Established "Koike Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd.", a food sales and import/export company.

2013

Established an automotive lamp design and development company named "Shinki Design & Development Sdn. Bhd.".

Established an aero parts design, development and manufacturing company named “PT. GMK Indonesia” in Indonesia.

2014

Opened a Japanese restaurant in Malaysia through "Ai Foods & Beverage Sdn. Bhd.".

Established an agricultural development company named “Koike Agriculture Sdn. Bhd.”.

2015

Koike obtained AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) specific bond approval.

2016

Joint venture with Bookoff Corporation Japan to established “Bok Marketing Sdn. Bhd.”, established the brand name " JJJ " for Pre-Loved products

BOK Marketing Sdn. Bhd. opened 1st outlet, Jalan Jalan Japan ( JJJ ) in One City.

2017

Jalan Jalan Japan ( JJJ ) opened its 2nd outlet in 1 Shamelin Mall.

2018

3rd Jalan Jalan Japan ( JJJ ) outlet was opened in Center Point, Seremban.

Established a joint venture with Onishi Clothing Co. Ltd. under the name of “OK KURASI (M) Sdn. Bhd.”.

2019

Achieved RM 300,000,000 in annual sales

Jalan Jalan Japan ( JJJ ) opened its 4th outlet in M3 Mall.
 
5th Jalan Jalan Japan ( JJJ ) outlet opened in KIP Mall.

OK KURASI (M) Sdn. Bhd. opened its 1st outlet in Quill Mall.

Established “Koike International Sdn. Bhd.”, a spin-off from the motorcycle assembly business of Koike (M) Sdn. Bhd.

2020

New motorcycle assembly plant built and completed in Penang.

6th Jalan Jalan Japan ( JJJ ) outlet opened in Tesco Rawang.

2021

Joint venture with Maruesu Corporation Japan to established “Maruesu (M) Sdn. Bhd.”

Jalan Jalan Japan ( JJJ ) 1st franchised outlet opened in Tesco Seberang Jaya, Penang.

7th Jalan Jalan Japan ( JJJ ) outlet opened in KIP Mall Masai, Johor.

OK KURASI (M) Sdn. Bhd. opened its 2nd outlet in Tesco Seberang Jaya, Penang.

Acquired a factory in Kuala Langat as the second manufacturing and assembly plant in Selangor.

2022

Achieved RM 600,000,000 in annual sales

Established Seremban customer service branch office.

Koike Malaysia awarded with Super Golden Bull Award.

8th Jalan Jalan Japan ( JJJ ) outlet opened in KIP Masai Tampoi, Johor

9th Jalan Jalan Japan ( JJJ ) outlet opened in KIP Mall, Melaka

2023

Koike Malaysia awarded with Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) for
Master Entrepreneur category and Corporate Excellence category

10th Jalan Jalan Japan ( JJJ ) Outlet opened in AEON Mall Bukit Raja, Selangor
